Why Promptliness

Most prompt "directories" are dumps — thousands of untested one-liners copied from forums, sorted by nothing in particular. Promptliness exists because finding a prompt that actually works shouldn't mean scrolling past two hundred mediocre ones first. Every prompt in the library is organized by the model it's built for, because a prompt engineered for Claude's reasoning style doesn't always land the same way in ChatGPT or Gemini, and by the job it's meant to do, from SEO research to sales outreach. We don't just publish prompts — our guides explain why they work, so you can adapt them instead of copy-pasting and hoping.

Our Journey

Promptliness started from a familiar frustration: folders full of prompts that worked great once, then were impossible to find again — or that quietly stopped working after a model update with no explanation why. We built the generator first, for ourselves, to stop rewriting the same instructions from scratch for every new project. The library and the model-by-model organization came after, once it was clear other people were hitting the same wall. We're still early, and adding new prompts and guides every week, but the goal hasn't moved: build the reference we wished existed when we started.
